Chuck Warden was born in Kerrville, Texas, on March 23rd, 1936. After a career in law enforcement and having grown up around horses with extensive knowledge of animal husbandry, he took up sculpting. Though primarily self-taught, in 1983 and 1984 he was a participating artist in two workshop art shows at the owboy Artists of America Museum in Kerrville, Texas. He has in the past been represented by alleries in New York New Mexico and Texas. At the present he participate in both public and private showings. He has annually shown at the National Cutting Horse Finals in Forth Work, Texas since 1990. IN 2004 and 2005 he was invited to show at the Museum of Western Art in Kerrville, Texas. His work has been collected in Europe, Canada, Mexico and much of the United States.
